Vintage English Country Wall-Mounted Plate Rack
£155.00
Lovely traditional wooden wall-mounted plate rack, with a wonderfully rustic English country/cottage character.
Made from solid timber, the rack features shaped side supports, a substantial wooden back, upper display shelf and lower slotted plate rail designed to hold plates securely. The simple hand-crafted construction and attractive shaped detailing give it a lovely farmhouse/country-kitchen appearance.
It has been stripped back to its natural wood, showing plenty of character and signs of age/use.
Approximate date: late 19th/early 20th century, although I would describe the date as approximate.
