About Eve
I’ve spent more than 30 years thinking about spaces — how they look, how they work, how they make us feel and, ultimately, how they become part of our lives.
I was raised in a family of retailers and renovators, so I grew up surrounded by buildings, objects and the people who cared for them. From an early age, I developed an appreciation for craftsmanship, character and the stories held within things — an instinct that continues to shape my work today.
My career has taken me through visual merchandising, spatial design, retail and education. I’ve designed retail environments, created immersive commercial spaces and helped brands tell their stories through thoughtful, considered experiences. Later, I shared that experience by teaching visual merchandising to the next generation of creatives.
Alongside my commercial work, I’ve restored Grade II listed properties, built a shepherds hut from scratch, transformed a Stable into an office space and am now building my own home from the ground up.
And while each project has been very different, the underlying belief has remained the same: the best spaces honour what came before, evolve naturally over time and, above all, are made to be lived in.
Redefining what it means to live successfully
For most of my adult life, work has been something I genuinely love. I’ve experienced very different sides of working life — from founding and growing my own business, to helping prepare another successful company for acquisition and subsequently moving into a corporate leadership role within the acquiring business. Experiencing both entrepreneurship and corporate life made me question something bigger: what does it really mean to live successfully?
I came to realise that achievement means very little if it comes at the expense of the freedom to live well. Life shouldn't simply become something we fit around work — something we endure between evenings, weekends and holidays.
That changed the way I thought about work. And, ultimately, it changed the way I thought about home.
I believe our homes should support the lives we want to live, rather than simply reflect how successful we appear. They should restore us, inspire us and create room for the people, rituals and experiences that matter most.
That idea became the foundation of Nowhere In Particular.
A more considered way of living.
More than a brand, Nowhere In Particular is an evolving expression of a way of life - a collection of spaces, objects and ideas centred around living more slowly, creatively and intentionally.
Rooted in a love of natural materials, timeless design and homes with soul, it celebrates craftsmanship, imperfection, everyday rituals and the quiet luxury of having the time and space to live well.
Drawing on a lifetime of creating environments that connect with people, Eve instinctively brings old and new together, balancing texture, atmosphere and authenticity. Her approach is less concerned with trends or perfection than with feeling - creating spaces that invite people to linger, gather, make, restore and reconnect.
And this is only the beginning.
As Nowhere In Particular evolves, the philosophy will extend beyond interiors and objects into the spaces themselves.
What begins as a destination for thoughtful interiors, restoration and slower living will gradually become a collection of places where those ideas can be experienced firsthand - from hosted stays in Eve’s own home to beautifully restored retreats, including the Apple Store and projects still to come.
Each will be different, but the intention will remain the same: to create somewhere that offers a little distance from the noise and pace of modern life, and a little more room for the things that matter.
